Who you are dealing with

This store is operated by Hong Kong Witzvah Technology Co., Limited, trading as Lorqesia, Room 602, 6/F, Kai Yue Commercial Building, No. 2C Argyle Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Throughout these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company. By browsing lorqesia.com or placing an order you agree to what follows.

Using this store

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from us. You agree not to use the store for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to interfere with it, and not to copy its text or photographs for commercial use without our written permission.

Products and descriptions

Every candle is poured in small batches. Colour, glaze depth and surface texture vary slightly from vessel to vessel, and photographs on a screen are an approximation. Burn times and dimensions given on product pages are approximate. We try to describe every product accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions are free of error.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order, including after a confirmation email, if the product is out of stock, the price was listed incorrectly, or the order appears fraudulent. If we cancel, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in United States dollars and may change without notice. Taxes, duties and import charges levied by your own country are not included and are your responsibility. Payment is authorised and captured when the order is placed, through Shopify’s hosted checkout.

Shipping and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we will put it right under our refund policy.

Returns

Returns are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Safety

Candles are an open flame. You agree to follow the safety instructions supplied with the candle and published on our care and materials page. We are not liable for damage caused by a candle that was left unattended, burned for more than four hours at a time, burned below the final centimetre of wax, or placed on an unsuitable surface.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
